Nathan and Edwin Morgan account books, 1832-1836.

Nathan Morgan was a grocer in Hartford, Connecticut. His nephew, Edwin Morgan, began working as a clerk, and later became a partner in the business. Edwin Morgan would later become a Hartford councilman before moving to New York City. In New York Edwin continued in politics, first as Governor and later as Senator.
